Our farm grows 8 species of one variety of blueberry called Bb001. The variety is relatively new and young. It was registered in 2015 in the state register of varieties. This variety is a clone of the Duke variety and has similar morphological features. Shrubs of this variety 1.2-1.8 m tall. Berries begin to ripen in mid-July. The berries are quite large 17-20 mm in diameter. With proper care can regularly give a high yield of 6-8 kg from the bush.
The peculiarity of this variety of blueberry is that the early ripening of berries occurs at a fairly late flowering. This prevents damage from spring frosts.
Bb001 is a record holder in terms of ripening time: only 45 days pass between flowering and fruit picking.

At room temperature, fresh blueberries can be stored for a maximum of 3-5 days. In the refrigerator – about 10-15 days.
